The Atlantic Chapter Annual Membership Meeting will be held 5 June 2010 at the Bass Pro Shops in Harrisburg PA from 1pm – 5pm.
Nick Starika, our longtime Chapter Chairman and friend, has resigned from his position on the Chapter Board. In accordance with the VDD Bylaws, we will hold an election to fill his post at our membership meeting. In the meantime, Vice-Chairman Bob Wasylyk will assume the Chairman’s duties.
Written nominations for Chairman may be sent to Chapter Business Manager Scott Shirey, at s.shirey@muffinenterprises.com, or 241 N. Middlesex Rd., Carlisle PA 17013. The deadline for advance nominations is 22 May, so that we can notify the membership and post details on the Chapter website. Nominations from the floor will of course be accepted at the meeting.
Written motions to be considered by the membership may also be submitted to the Business Manager by 22 May, again so that there is time to publish them before the meeting. Motions from the floor may be made, and will be considered for debate if no more that 1/4 of those present object.
We will also be finalizing our fall test plans, and setting up preliminary discussions about our 2011 events.
